Introducing our blog
Hey guys, Omar here! We hope you are enjoying all of our video content so far! Although we have seen great success already, we’re always striving to push forward!
This blog will be our gateway in to written content that will allow you guys to see School of Scents on a deeper level and convey information that video won’t do justice.
Here are some upcoming ideas for this blog:
Top 10 lists
If you have been following our YouTube, you will notice we are top 5 connoisseurs and have yet to dabble in top 10 lists. However, with the YouTube overlords generally favouring and promoting longer videos over shorter ones, we have decided to make the move to top 10 lists for the most part.
However, our specialty are succinct reviews and we will continue to do these even within these top 10 videos. While each fragrance will be covered swiftly, these videos can then be linked to this blog where you can see our opinion on each scent in more depth!
Thoughts on upcoming new releases
The industry is always putting out new and exciting releases! Often the idea behind them and note breakdown are revealed before a release is available. How would you guys feel about opinion columns on these upcoming releases, judging if we think they’ll be successful or an unnecessary release?
Does Versace Eros really need an EDP release when it’s already so strong?
Fragrance Battles
Our ladies’ reaction videos where we pit the titans in the fragrance game against each other are some of our most entertaining videos yet! It might be interesting that we post analyses of these videos based on what the ladies say about certain colognes and why we’re even pitting certain ones against each other in the first place!
For example, we frequently mention Versace Dylan Blue as a ‘young man’s’ shower gel scent. A girl in our recent video said she imagined a ‘35 year old man’ would wear it. What does this mean for our blue crusader?! Like an English teacher, I feel this statement needs to be explored…
